Progress has been slow for the last couple of months since paint. The shell was tucked away in a dry corner while work to finish a Dino 246GT took priority. Now that's done, reassembly on my P1800 has begun, and what can I say ... New chrome against that ivory paint looks better than I could ever have imagined. All doubts about this colour choice have now evaporated. It looks beautiful.
That's a New Old Stock grille surround, which wasn't cheap, but when offered such a rare piece you don't hesitate. And the headlights - Lucas PL700s - aren't original spec, but are in period and look soooo cool. I've got a good feeling about how this car is going to turn out. Feast your eyes...
